Air New Zealand can have all my money

Randy will tell you that I have never flown on any flight that was longer than 6 hrs and that after 5 hrs I start to get claustrophobic and antsy and impatient. Needless to say I was a bit concerned about my ability to tolerate a 12 hour flight. I knew that our decision to purchase Sky Couches would help mitigate that but little did I know how nice that experience would be. We underestimate the benefits of being able to actually lay down, ample leg room and the ability to recline vs falling asleep sitting up in a tight seat with your legs cramped and limited reclining capacity. Hot, delicious meals and very nice and helpful crew. Anyway, sharing some pictures from our flight below. I have never gotten off a plane feeling even slightly rested, but I felt great at the end of this flight. It did not feel like we flew for as long as we did. I don't ever want to fly on any other airline ever again
