Last Sunday we went to a place that had been on my list for some time now. It is where we were trying to go the Sunday prior but the roads were closed off due to a triathalon.
Duder Regional Park.
A mix of meadows and forests and beaches and sheep.
We figured out that we walked over 6.5 miles, over 17,000 steps. There were hills that burned our legs and butts and views at the top that took our breath away. Another free park in Auckland, only about 40mins from our home. It is not hard to see the beautiful mark of God's hand in this paradise.

I love that to enter most parks we have to clean our shoes in order to protect the flora and fauna
I am grateful that we were able clean our shoes at the end of our trek. The amount of sheep and cow droppings we stepped on... glad to not be bringing that into our SUV.
