Trading left hand for right

This is a picture of me 12 years ago. I had just bought my first new vehicle and was about to start residency training. Back when I was in college I'd always seen Toyota Rav 4s driving around and I always told myself that that would be my first vehicle that wasn't used. I felt so accomplished. This car has seen us through so many life events and has weathered many storms with us. To say that this SUV has been reliable, would be an understatement.

Today we sold our Toyota Rav 4 and in a few days we will be selling our min van. In New Zealand the steering wheels are on the right side of the vehicles and they drive on the left side of the road. We aren't allowed to ship left hand drive vehicles over there so we will be purchasing a vehicle when we get there. In Trinidad we also drive on the left and have steering wheels on the right side of the vehicles, and Randy is quite adept at handling that, but I haven't ever really had much practice with this as I learned to drive here in the States, so this will be another new skill I will have to learn.

I am up for the new experiences and new challenges. At this point, I have become quite comfortable with saying goodbye to things that I have held onto for many years. Thank you Rav!
